  • White flecksDry, flaky skin, lint or leftover product.

what you'll see

Three things a normal mirror won't show you

  1. 01 · breakouts

Breakouts and clogged pores, up close

Under 365nm light, many people see tiny orange-red dots in their pores. See what's actually sitting on your skin, not just what a mirror shows.

  2. 02 · oil & texture

    Oil, texture and pores, magnified

The lens and UV ring show your skin's surface in detail a bathroom mirror can't.

  3. 03 · makeup & SPF

    Leftover makeup and missed sunscreen

Check that your cleanse got everything, and see where your sunscreen didn't reach.

how to use it

Three steps, about a minute

  1. step 1

Charge it and dim the lights

Charge over USB. Everything shows up clearest in a dim room.

  2. step 2

    Glasses on, short passes

Wear UV400 glasses to look at your own face, or have someone check for you while your eyes are closed. Pass the lamp over a few seconds at a time.

  3. step 3

    Look through the lens

Check pores and texture up close. Sunscreen shows up darker; bright patches are what you missed.

questions

Questions, answered plainly

How long does delivery take?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days, then take 7–12 business days to reach Canada and the US. That's the real range, not a rounded-down one. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

Does it show acne?

It shows your skin's surface under UV light, including breakouts, clogged pores and the tiny orange-red dots many people see in their pores at 365nm. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent acne. For acne concerns, talk to a pharmacist or dermatologist.

Does it work on my skin tone?

It works on every skin tone, but the effect isn't equally strong. The orange-red dots and contrast are usually easiest to see on light to medium skin; on deeper skin tones they can look more subtle. A fully dark room gives the clearest view.

Is the UV light safe to use on my face?

PoreVision uses 365nm UVA light. Never shine it into anyone's eyes. To look at your own face, wear UV400 glasses; if someone else is checking your skin, keep your eyes closed. Use short passes of a few seconds. It's not for children.

If your skin is sensitive to light, or you take medication that makes it more sensitive, check with your doctor before using it.

Are UV-blocking glasses included?

Not in the box. To look at your own face, your eyes need to be open, so wear UV400 glasses (any UV400 sunglasses work). If someone else is checking your skin, you can simply keep your eyes closed.

How do I charge it?

It has a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it with the included USB cable from any USB charger.

What's in the box?

The PoreVision lamp and a USB charging cable.

What if it arrives damaged or doesn't work?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or short video, and we'll send a replacement or refund you. Unopened items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened lamps can't be returned for a change of mind, since they're used on skin. Full returns policy

Is PoreVision a medical device?

No. It's a cosmetic viewing tool. It doesn't diagnose, detect or treat any skin condition, and it doesn't measure SPF. If you're concerned about a spot or mark on your skin, see a doctor or dermatologist.
